How it works?

This laser particularly target the melanin pigment in your skin( more tanning more melanin pigment in the skin).

It breaks melanin into smaller particles which after few days will be removed from your skin by your immune system .Less melanin in the skin -less pigment- more brighter the skin.

In the deep layer the same laser stimulates the collagen which helps to tighten the skin & reduce the pore size

Misconception:
Many people believe that lasers makes their skin sensitive, thin or May develop future risk for cancers but all these things are not true.Uv light (sun rays) causes cancer not lasers(that too Indian skin is not as sensitive to develop cancer as foreign skin)This laser is particularly targeted as melanin so it only acts on melanin without damaging the skin so it does not make your skin sensitive or thin.

Sessions-3-5 sessions (depends on the severity of pigmentation)

What is Skin Brightening Treatment

Skin brightening refers to the process of lightening or evening out the skin tone by reducing the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and discoloration. It is a cosmetic treatment or skincare regimen aimed at achieving a more radiant and even complexion.

  1. Topical creams and serums: Many skincare products contain ingredients such as hydroquinone, kojic acid, arbutin, vitamin C, retinoids, and niacinamide, which help to inhibit melanin production, lighten dark spots, and promote skin renewal.
  2. Chemical peels: This procedure involves applying a chemical solution to the skin, which exfoliates the top layer and stimulates the growth of new, evenly pigmented skin cells.

Symptoms of Skin Brightening Treatment

  • Mild Redness: It is common to experience mild redness immediately after a skin brightening treatment. This can occur due to increased blood flow to the treated area or as a result of the treatment itself.

  • Dryness and Flaking: Some skin brightening treatments, such as chemical peels or laser treatments, may cause the outermost layer of the skin to peel or flake off. This is a natural part of the skin renewal process and may temporarily lead to dryness.

  • Sensitivity: Skin brightening treatments can temporarily increase skin sensitivity. You may experience a heightened response to skincare products, sunlight, or other external factors. It is important to protect your skin from sun exposure and use gentle products during the recovery period.

  • Itching or Tingling: Depending on the treatment, you may experience mild itching or tingling sensations during or after the procedure. This is typically temporary and should subside within a few days.

Skin Brightening Treatment

  • Topical creams or serums: Many skincare brands offer products containing ingredients like hydroquinone, retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids AHAs, vitamin C, niacinamide, or kojic acid. These ingredients can help reduce hyperpigmentation and promote skin brightening when used consistently over time.

  • Chemical peels: Performed by dermatologists or trained estheticians, chemical peels involve applying a chemical solution to the skin to exfoliate the top layers and stimulate cell turnover. Peels can help improve skin texture, reduce pigmentation issues, and enhance overall skin tone.

  • Laser therapy: Laser treatments, such as intense pulsed light IPL or fractional laser therapy, can target specific areas of hyperpigmentation or uneven skin tone. These treatments use targeted light or laser energy to break down excess pigmentation and stimulate collagen production, resulting in a more even complexion.

  • Microdermabrasion: This non invasive procedure involves exfoliating the outer layer of skin using tiny crystals or a diamond tipped wand. Microdermabrasion can help improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of dark spots, and enhance skin brightness.

  • Derma rolling or micro needling: These procedures involve using a small handheld device with tiny needles to create micro injuries in the skin. This stimulates collagen production and helps with product absorption, potentially improving skin tone and reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation.

  • Prescription strength treatments: Dermatologists may prescribe stronger medications or creams, such as hydroquinone, tretinoin, or corticosteroids, for more severe cases of hyperpigmentation or skin discoloration.
